What time do the events begin?
Please arrive and be seated by 2:45 p.m. for a 3:00 p.m. outdoor ceremony. The Cocktail Hour will begin immediately after the ceremony, held outside. We will then move indoors for the reception and dinner, which will start at 5:00 p.m. After dinner, we will have desserts and dancing! We are excited to celebrate with you!
Where do I RSVP?
A formal RSVP link will be sent with the wedding invites. Individuals will RSVP electronically on this site after wedding invites are mailed on August 1. To RSVP, please enter your full name (First Last) as written on your envelope. Each name will be entered separately to RSVP. For Example, Bruce Lohman; Andrea Proos; Thomas Lohman - are three separate entries so that we can gather food preferences and allergies.
Attire: Formal Cocktail Garden
As summer draws to a close, we are embracing the transition with attire that blends refined evening elegance and garden-inspired charm, with soft touches of lavender and sage, grounded by elegant chamoissee and accented with gold for a luxurious finish.
Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony or reception?
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony to ensure that everyone can fully experience the moment. We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture all of the special moments, and we can not wait to share those with you! However, feel free to take as many photos during the reception as you like! We just ask that you respect the couple's wishes and enjoy the ceremony without distractions. We will also have a photobooth set up during the cocktail hour and reception. Please help us get ample photos of our guests enjoying the day as much as we will!
What kind of shoes should I wear for an outdoor wedding?
Since our wedding will take place outdoors, we recommend wearing comfortable dress shoes that are appropriate for grass or uneven terrain. We suggest sandals, closed-toed shoes, or wedges for ladies, and comfy dress shoes for gentlemen. High heels may be tricky on grassy areas, so consider something with a lower, more stable heel. Most importantly, we want everyone to enjoy themselves, so please choose shoes that will keep you comfortable while you celebrate with us!
Can I bring my children?
We absolutely adore kids, but due to limited space and the nature of the event, we have made the decision that beyond immediate family, the event will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this allows all of our guests to fully relax and enjoy the festivities. We truly appreciate your understanding, and we look forward to celebrating with you!
Can I bring a guest?
If you are invited to bring a guest, it will be clearly noted on your invitation. We have carefully planned the guest list and want to make sure everyone has a personalized experience. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
Is the venue wheelchair or handicap accessible?
Yes, the venue is fully handicap and scooter accessible. The venue will have an accessible restroom for your convenience. Our wedding will take place on grass, so while the venue is wheelchair accessible and will have an accessible restroom, we want to be mindful of the terrain. If you or a guest require additional assistance or have specific needs due to the outdoor setting, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We want to ensure that everyone can enjoy the celebration comfortably!
Parking
A parking lot is available on site.
Will plans change if there is inclement weather?
We are planning for a beautiful outdoor ceremony, but just in case Mother Nature has other plans, we have got it covered—literally! In the event of rain or severe weather, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held indoors at the same venue in the reception tent. We look forward to celebrating with all of you!
